Natural Bamboo
Bamboo is unobtrusive, inexpensive, naturally water resistant, and
strong. We have included three special sizes. The 3’, 4’ and 5’, approximately
3/8" diameter, are good for staking. The 6’ poles are approximately ¾" diameter
and can be used with our Wigwam Grips or Terrecotta Cane Toppers or can be lashed or woven to make A-frame trellises or "teepees" for
your climbing plants and vegetables. The 3' 4' and 5' lengths are available in
bundles of 25. The 6' poles are in bundles of 12.
Wigwam Grips
A dark green round plastic disk with six holes. Insert your own ¾" diameter bamboo cane to make a teepee shape growing support for your climbing plants.
Wigwam Kit
Our Wigwam kit comes with the two Wigwam grips and twelve 6’ bamboo poles and will make two bamboo ‘teepees’. Insert six poles into the six holes in one circular grip and spread the poles around the plant to form your vegetable/flower tower. We even include a package of 25 Lever-Loops, the "best" thing for holding stems to supports. This is a very easy and efficient system.
