Description

Our OMRI Listed Organic Compost Tea Blend was created for people interested in gardening without the use of chemical fertilizers. Our balanced compost tea blend, when actively aerated in in our compost tea brewer incubates a microherd of aerobic, beneficial, micro-organisms that can be immediately applied to soil and plants. These organisms quickly go to work to break down biodegradable materials, creating nutrients in the soil to promote rich and healthy plants. Our compost tea blend comes from a great farm in Rhode Island.

Brewing and applying compost tea blend provides several benefits:

1. Stimulates plant growth and flower production.

2. Provides wide spectrum of nutrients quickly and efficiently.

3. Defends plants from diseases and pests such as botrytis blight, downey mildew, powdery mildew, stem rot, and many more.

4. Degrades toxic pesticides and other dangerous chemicals

5. Replaces beneficial organisms killed by chemical fertilizers or pesticides.

Our compost tea can be used as a foliar feed, a soil drench, or both. Soil drenches are best for building up the soil microbial activities and supplying lots of beneficial soluble nutrients to the plant’s root system and the topsoil texture. Foliar feeds are best for quick fixes of trace elements and small portions of other soluble nutrients into the plant through its leaves. Foliar feeds are also good for plant disease control.

Here’s how to use it

1. Drop the small burlap bag into the compost tea brewer.

2. Plug in the air pump and let it brew for 24 or more hours. The Tea will then have a rich, earthly smell, like duff from under trees and shrubs.

3. Open the spigot located at the bottom of the pail to fill a spray bottle or watering can.

4. Apply to the soil or spray plant.

Note: One Tea Bag Makes 10 gallons of Compost Tea; Each bag can be brewed twice.
